We exist to spread a passion for the truth and glory of Jesus Christ to college students from all nations. We meet on Sundays to go to church together and have lunch fellowship afterwards, we meet during the week for Bible study and prayer, and we try to do fun things together (ie. bowling, hiking, beach bonfires, and trips to LA, SF, Yosemite, etc.). Burmese Student Association - Spring 2024

The purpose of this club is to promote the awareness of the situation in Myanmar and to create a warm and caring environment for new Myanmar students who might have lots of worries because of the hardships back home. We hope to achieve that by hosting Myanmar festivals in OCC, planning events such as movie nights, hiking trips, potlucks, etc. We will also be trying to raise awareness of the situation in Myanmar and raising funds to donate back to refugees. Our club will serve not only as a social group but also as a place of learning when Myanmar students need help with choosing classes or mentoring or need help as a new student.

The Mock Trial Club of OCC provides a phenomenal social aspect. Here, one finds a new group of friends and an expanding network of highly motivated individuals. Most importantly, the Mock Trial of OCC provides students with a valuable learning experience. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Club - Fall 2023

Our goal is to provide the club members with hands-on experience via student-led projects that will make them more competitive when applying to an internship, to a job, or a four-year university. We also cooperate with OCC's departments such as Mathematics and Sciences department and Computer Science department to organize workshops that are specifically for STEM majors (Computer Sciences, Engineering's, etc.) to improve learning strategy and provide insightful information about career choice. Furthermore, we organize workshops for many internships, such as project RAISE from CSU Fullerton, in which we invite staff and program alumni to share their experiences.

Sikh Student Association of OCC - Spring 2024

The Sikh Student Association or SSA is an organization supported through United Sikh Movement(USM). USM offers SSAs a four pillar structure that helps to combine all forms of Sikhi and school into the organizations which are Simran( meditation) seva (selfless service), Sangat (company/fellowship) & Academics. Within this structure, SSAs host activities that help students develop Sikh oriented habits that include the three principles of sikhi Naam japo (recite its name), Kirat Karo (Earn honest living) and Vand Chako (share with the needs). Its purpose is to promote awareness and understanding of Sikh culture, traditions, and values among students. The club often organizes events, discussions, and cultural activities to foster a sense of community and educate others about Sikhism.
