Students using prior college coursework to meet Orange Coast College degree and/or certificate requirements must submit official transcripts to the Enrollment Center for evaluation. Please view the section below on ways to submit your official transcripts.

Currently, official transcripts take about 6 weeks to be evaluated (12 weeks for out-of-state and 4-year institutions).

If a prerequisite needs to be cleared before evaluations are completed, please submit a Prerequisite Clearance Request

Please be sure to make an appointment to see a counselor to review your Student Educational Plan. If your transcripts have not been evaluated by the time you see your counselor, please reach out to occevaluators@occ.cccd.edu.

SUBMITTING OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS TO OCC

Students who have completed classes at another accredited College or University, and wish to submit the transcripts for prerequisite clearance or for meeting degree/certificate requirements, may send official transcripts to Orange Coast College in one of three ways:

Via Mail:
ORANGE COAST COLLEGE
ATTN: ENROLLMENT CENTER
P O BOX 5005
COSTA MESA CA 92628-5005

Via E-mail: occtranscripts@occ.cccd.edu
If the sending institution sends official transcripts electronically via PDF, electronic transcripts can be sent directly via Parchment or to the email above. Sending electronic PDF transcripts is usually the fastest way to send us official transcripts. The transcripts must be sent directly from the sending institution's authorized agent. OCC will not accept forwarded transcripts from the student.

In Person: Official transcripts can also be handed in person to the Enrollment Center front counter window, located on the first floor of Watson Hall, given that it is still sealed and unopened. Opened transcripts will be considered unofficial and cannot be accepted.

Once transcripts have been submitted to Enrollment Services, all OCC departments requesting official transcripts to be on file will have access to view your official transcripts. Currently, official transcripts take about 6 weeks to be evaluated (12 weeks for out-of-state and 4-year institutions).
