2024 Summer Refreshers
Join us in the OCC Math Center to brush up on your math skills right before your Fall 2024 classes begin!
This summer, from August 5 to August 15, the OCC Math Center proudly presents Summer 2024 Math Refreshers. This is a lab-based Math Refresher aimed to prepare students for their upcoming math course in the Fall 2024 semester.
The Math Refreshers there will have:
- 8 sessions, 3 hours per session
- Mon-Thurs: 12-3 PM, August 5 to August 15
- Instructor: Mariana Voicu
- Lab-based format with Instructional Assistant support
- Workshops on selected topics
- Attending all sessions is strongly recommended
- All meetings will be in the Math Center in MBCC 218
- If you have a laptop, please bring it to all sessions.
- The Math Center is open Monday to Thursday, July 22 - August 15: AM-noon to start early or for additional Math Skills Review
- All resources are completely free for OCC students
We are offering refreshers to prepare for the following courses:
- College Algebra (Math 115) - Algebra Review
- Trigonometry (Math 120) - Algebra Review
- Business Calculus (Math 140) - Algebra Review
- Pre-Calculus (Math 170) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
- Calculus and above (Math 180+) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review
