A virtual ceremony will be held to confer degrees on Friday, May 28 at 5 pm. All graduates who have submitted a graduation petition to graduate in Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 are encouraged to participate in the Virtual Commencement Ceremony.

A virtual ceremony has many of the same components of a live ceremony, including presentations from the College President, distinguished faculty, and a few surprises. During the ceremony, your name will be announced as your awards and other recognition are displayed. You will also have the opportunity to interact using the Live Chat feature during the ceremony with your classmates, your faculty, and college staff.

You will need to RSVP to participate in the virtual ceremony. Refer to the "Ceremony Registration" on the right for more information.

The Virtual Commencement Ceremony is not mandatory. If you are able to, we hope that you will join the celebration. However, if students who have met the academic requirements choose not to or are unable to take part in the ceremony, as in prior years, the degree will still be conferred. Your diploma and/or certificate will be mailed to you after the semester has ended and the college has verified that you have met all institutional requirements to graduate.

All graduates who wish to participate in the Virtual Commencement Ceremony will need to register by responding to the RSVP form that they received via text message or to their student email. When you register, you will be asked to:

  • Provide your preferred name, student ID#, and home town
  • Provide a phonetic spelling of your name to ensure your name is pronounced correctly.
  • Upload a picture or short 3-5sec video clip that you would like to represent you in the Virtual Commencement Ceremony.
  • Include a personal message.

The last day to RSVP for the Commencement is May 12, 2021.

Only graduates need to register for the ceremony, your family and friends do not need to register to view the Virtual Commencement Ceremony.

The Virtual Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 28, 2021, at 5 p.m. (PST).

The ceremony will be streamed via YouTube Premiere. The access link will be made available to you via email and posted on this webpage. Please share the link with all your guests so they will be able to join your celebration.

The virtual ceremony can also be watched afterward. A link to the video will be available on this page shortly after the conclusion of the ceremony.
