Technology is changing! There is no ending to learning something new. The IIC Training Center is presenting different workshops, webinars, and group meetings year-round. Be sure to check the training schedule periodically. The schedule can be found in the menu above under IIC Event. Basic Canvas Online Orientation (self-enroll/self-pace)
This self-paced workshop will guide novice Canvas users and learn basic Canvas tools; including Notification, navigation, modules, assignment, quizzes, and grades.
CCCD Zoom Resources (self-enroll/resource guide)
This Canvas shell is loaded with resources and updates from the three colleges. In addition, there are updates and tips from the original author, Lene Whitley-Putz at Foothill Community College. Very handy online reference tool.
DesignPLUS, a unique set of design tools for Canvas, has arrived! No HTML, CSS, or coding is required. These tools by CiDiLabs automate the creation and design of modules, pages, due dates, themes, as well as customized course navigation bars. Syllabi and modules are easy to create with only a few clicks. This software is also designed to create accessible content. Once you use it, you will wonder how you ever lived without DeignPLUS! Come to an Informative Session to preview the tools, and get the chance to sign up for fantastic, self-paced training. Sign up in Cornerstone (use the Calendar or the links).

Presenting with Panopto - virtual training
Panopto is Coast's next-generation video creation, editing, storage, and sharing system. The system replaced Knowmia, and it is mighty powerful. The new system works alone or within Canvas. Making presentations and lectures could not be any easier. The best part is you are in control. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the online system, learn how to make videos, manage your videos, and add Panopto videos to your classes. Finally, we will show you can continue to get support, training, and resources.

Accessible PDF Document (self-paced / self-enroll)
Making accessible PDF documents is a bit of a challenge! But with patience, and understanding of Adobe's accessibility system, you can create accessible PDF documents.
Accessible PowerPoint Presentations (self-paced / self-enroll)
Using Microsoft Accessibility checker walks you through making accessible presentations, notes, and handouts. Very easy to learn. This workshop will show you how to successfully use the checker and some additional tricks.
Accessible Word Documents (self-paced / self-enroll)
Making Word documents accessible is not difficult. This self-paced training shows you how to make your Word documents accessible, including styles, headers, and Word Tables.
